Well it’s happened. We’ve reached that point of parenthood where we really have to watch what we say. Spelling in no longer an option either. Our daughter is officially smarter than we are.
Yesterday we were driving in the car, I had the radio on. The announcer says, “KOIT dot com.” Just like that, the peanut gallery in the back seat “K-O-I-T-dot-com.” Not only does she repeat what I say, now she’s moved on to the radio personalities, who at times, can be very colorful.
Today I made the mistake of leaving her lunch alone in a room with the dog. Needless to say, he devoured her lunch. I hear, “Aw, NUTS! Bubba ate my lunch!” I’m just glad we didn’t hear something else!
