Time passes

I’m trying so hard to remember the time when I was free to do all the things I needed to do. Instead I find myself lost in the day to day hustle and bustle. I feel like I’ve been going through the motions and have nothing left at the end of the day.

I wouldn’t change my life for anything. I love the organized chaos each day brings. My family, even at the worst of times, is my pride and joy. I just wish there were a few more hours to the day.

I realized recently that it’s up to me to find the time. Make time for me. Just because I’m a stay-at-home mom doesn’t mean I’m confined to four walls each day. That I can also meet my needs as well as those of my family.

Baby steps. That’s what I’m going to take to get myself back to where I use to be. I didn’t get to this place over night.

Today, I’m writing a blog post. Tonight, I’m going to start a book that I’ve been wanting to read.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Time passes quickly. I need to make the most of it.
