Disneyland Halloween adventures

It’s no secret that we go to Disneyland often. But what might surprise you? We’ve never been during the Halloween festivities. Well, that’s about to change. We’re headed to Disneyland in just a few short days to experience Disneyland at it’s “spookiest.”

If you don’t know about Halloween time at Disney, it’s really a spooktacular event. From mid-September through the end of October, Disneyland transforms into a park full of pumpkins and goblins. Several of Disney’s characters will dress up in their own Halloween costumes. Even the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain will transform for the event.

One of the best parts of the event is Mickey’s Halloween Party. This special event allows adults and kids to celebrate Halloween in the park. During the private party, you can dress up and trick-or-treat throughout the park. The Halloween party requires a separate ticket purchase and only runs for 11 days throughout the month of October.

We are so excited, I can’t wait to share our trip with you. Have you been to Disneyland during Halloween? What can we expect?

Thanks Jessica! I think we finally found our brand! It makes sense really with how many times we go each year. Your kids will love it when you finally take them!

We went last year at the end of September and loved all the decorations. We did not go to Mickey’s Halloween party but did go on a day when they were having it and saw tons of people come in costume. The family themed costumes were the best. We are going again on Tuesday. When the kids are old enough we would like to go to the Halloween party. Have a fun time! http://sfcherub.blogspot.com/2011/10/disneyland-2011.html

We’ll be there Wednesday-Saturday! I think we’ll wait on the party too, maybe in a couple more years.

The Haunted House gets BUSY! Unless you have special access passes make sure to stop there for your Fast Pass first. Have a great time :)
