Don’t miss the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail

We just finished watching DisneyPixar’s Up. If you haven’t seen it yet, grab a box of tissues, and watch it now. Such a cute movie, and perfect for the whole family.

It’s taken three trips to Disney’s California Adventure park to discover the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. This is an amazing two-acre course where you’ll hike, climb, slide, and swing your way through nature, earning your Wilderness Badge along the way. Russell, the boy, and Dug, the dog from Up, will give you clues along the way to help you earn your badge.

It’s easy to miss this mammoth trail. If you’re speed-walking to the next big attraction, you may not notice the guides encouraging you to take the challenge. It’s located along the outer path of the Golden State, between Grizzly River Run and Ariel. There is seldom a line, and once inside, you can stay as long as you want. I love this area — it’s a great place for kids and adults to get out extra energy while spending time in a nature camp environment.

Great tip! This sounds like a really nice way for the kids to burn off energy in between rides. Plus, sounds like something I would totally be up for too!
