As part of this sponsored post for Collective Bias®, I purchased the following FROZEN merchandise at Walmart to promote the release of the upcoming movie.
This past summer, I went to D23, the ultimate Disney fan club event. While there, I got a sneak peek at the new Disney movie, FROZEN. We also had the privilege of seeing Idina Menzel perform, “Let It Go.” From that moment on, I’ve been counting down the days until we can take our daughter to see the movie.
The story is centered around two sisters, Anna and Elsa. Elsa has magical powers that ultimately turn a beautiful summer day in the kingdom of Arendelle into winter. Anna sets out to make things right again, and break the curse cast by Elsa. Along the way, Anna meets several new friends. Including one adorable snowman, Olaf.
The movie comes out on Thanksgiving weekend. Until then, I thought it would be fun to build the excitement before the movie release. Over the weekend, we went to Walmart and purchased several items to get us in the movie spirit. It was a great way to introduce the characters to the girls before we see the movie.
Emma loves to dress up, so of course the dresses were necessary. We couldn’t decide between Elsa’s or Anna’s dress, so both came home. Addie had the same problem, she loved both dolls. The dolls where perfect for both girls and we couldn’t separate the sisters after all.
Emma had a friend over this week, and both girls ended up wearing the dresses, playing with the dolls, and decorating snowflake cookies. They played endlessly with Anna and Elsa. Both girls have seen the previews for the movie, and we read the books to get a better idea of what’s to come.
I can tell FROZEN is going to be a huge hit. It seems different than any other Disney movie. It’s a great story about two, very powerful women. It was fun being able to share the story with the girls.
Are you ready to see the movie? You can follow the movie on Twitter and Facebook using #FrozenFun. Disney’s FROZEN will be in theaters on November 27th.
