Last summer my husband and I attended D23, the ultimate Disney fan club convention. While there, we were lucky to get a sneak peak of The Pirate Fairy. You could imagine my shock to hear it would be another eight long months before we’d see the movie in it’s entirety.
This week, The Pirate Fairy came out on DVD. You better believe we were the first people at Walmart the Tuesday morning of the release to get our copy. The girls couldn’t wait to get it. We went right to the entertainment aisle and found the new release movies section.
One of Addie’s first words was Hook, referring of course to James, a.k.a. Captain Hook. I think she has a darker side, as he tends to be one of her favorite characters. That is, of course, until she met Zarina. Watch out James, you’ve been replaced.
The DVD couldn’t have come out at a better time. We are settling into spring break so the girls got to have a weekday movie night. We got our Pirate Booty ready, along with our Yo Ho Ho waters, and before we knew it we were ready to protect Pixie Hollow.
My daughter had four friends over. We saved our Rosetta Cupcakes for last. The girls had a lot of fun and I’ve never heard so many giggles at one time. It’s such an amazing sound to hear. Disney really nailed it with this movie.
Walmart is offering the exclusive Pixie Hollow Bake Off DVD free when you purchase The Pirate Fairy on Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital HD. The girls really had a great time and loved the movies. Now we just have to wait to find out what happens to Captain Hook!
The Pirate Fairy and #Collective Bias® will help us get through our rainy Spring break holiday. We plan to #ProtectPixieHollow all week long. If you need a little extra Blue Pixie Dust to get you through a long day, grab this movie. You won’t be disappointed!
