Milk jug ghosts and ghouls

I’ve seen several craft projects you can do with milk jugs. With the amount of milk we drink around here, I have plenty of milk jugs to use for crafts.

Halloween seemed like the perfect time to get creative with easy milk jug projects. I wanted to do something fun that my kids can help with and provide a cute outdoor decoration for our Halloween party.

This project is so easy. All you need are milk jugs, a black marker, and glow sticks. Draw your favorite ghost or ghoul face on the front of the milk jug. Cut a hole in either the top or bottom of the jug and add a glow stick or flameless light.

You can get really creative and paint the insides and cut out jack-o-latern features. They also have stickers you can use that adhere with heat, and they’ll form to the plastic jugs.

With so many milk jugs, we tried a little bit of everything. While we were making our milk ghouls, we talked about the importance of drinking milk to help grow, build strong bones, and give us everything we need to be able to do fun craft projects like this.

Drink to a Brighter Future

There are so many great craft ideas out there. My kids were eager to drink more milk, just so they could have additional milk jugs to use. This is one way to get them to enjoy one more glass of milk.

What fun projects have you used with your empty plastic milk jugs? I can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with next!

What a great idea! I am sharing this now with my page. I am running a #StressLessHoliday campaign and this is a really simple way to reuse and create something fun.
