Cars Land is is the newest and most loved areas of DCA. And for good reason. Each time you walk into Cars Land, it feels like you just stepped onto the set of Cars, the movie. An animated movie no less. The reproduction of Flo’s V8 Cafe and Luigi’s Tires looks just like you remember it from the movie.
If you’re looking for a little snack to hold you over between meals, or an after-dinner treat, check out another of the small reproductions of Radiator Springs: the Cozy Cone Motel. Inspired directly from the movie, this charming motel sits on the main stretch of the small town. Here you’ll find oversized cone-shaped motel rooms, each serving up different food stuffs, and all in small cone-shaped cups. Each cone has a different menu, so make sure you’re in the right line.
In addition to several beverages to choose from (including a “route beer float”), you can also choose from popcorn, chili cone queso, chicken verde, ice cream, churros, and pretzel bites. The Cozy Cone is open for breakfast. But I recommend stopping by for a midday or a late night snack. This is the perfect road stop with something for everyone.
An as an added bonus, you’ll often see full-size Cars characters like Mater or Lightning McQueen parked out front of the Cozy Cone, waiting to pose for a picture with you, and talk with you and your kids.
