Halloween at Disneyland

Fall is my favorite time of year. Our kids are back in school and the holidays are just around the corner. We’ve been going to Disneyland around Halloween each year for the last several years. This will be our third year attending Mickey’s Halloween party. For us, this is a great way to start the fall festivities.

HALLOWEEN TIME AT THE DISNEYLAND RESORT (ANAHEIM, Calif.) - The Diamond Celebration continues as guests celebrate Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort from Sept. 11 through Nov. 1, 2015 with dazzling entertainment and decor, in addition to the return of Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. This year, the family-friendly Mickey’s Halloween Party expands to 17 nights throughout the season at Disneyland park, where guests are invited to trick-or-treat in costume, celebrate with favorite Disney Characters and enjoy special presentations of the “Halloween Screams” fireworks spectacular and the all-new “Paint the Night” parade. Mickey’s Halloween Party is Disneyland’s annual Halloween event. This year, there are 17 dates available from September 11–November 1. Tickets for the event are on sale now. If you’ve been thinking about going, make sure you get your ticket sooner than later. They sell out fast.

PUMPKINS ON MAIN STREET, U.S.A. (ANAHEIM, Calif.) – Hundreds of pumpkins decorate Main Street, U.S.A., in celebration of the Pumpkin Festival during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, from Sept. 11 through Nov. 1, 2015. Also this fall, the Diamond Celebration continues, with dazzling entertainment and décor plus nighttime spectaculars. (Paul Hiffmeyer/Disneyland Resort)

One of the reasons we love this event so much is the chance to watch all the people dressed in their favorite Disney characters. This is one of the only times adults can dress up in the parks, not just the kids!

Another reason we love Halloween Time at Disneyland: the treats. Since it’s Halloween, we bend the rules a bit and let the girls have a treat, or two. The Mickey-o-lantern caramel apples are my favorite.

HAUNTED MANSION HOLIDAY (ANAHEIM, Calif.) – Jack Skellington, Sally and memorable characters from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” spread holiday cheer with an eerie twist at Disneyland park at Haunted Mansion Holiday. The Diamond Celebration continues as guests celebrate Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort from Sept. Besides all the treats, costumes, and seeing our favorite Disney characters dressed up, we also love the return of Jack Skellington to the Haunted Mansion. And this year, Jack is joined by a new friend, Hatbox Ghost, to help celebrate Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary.

There’s so much more I could tell you about this event, but I don’t want to give too much away. If you’re still on the fence, we’ll be live on Periscope the night of September 25th showing you just how fun the party really is! Make sure you follow @stop on Twitter (that’s Doug) for notifications of live streaming broadcasts, and watch for #HalloweenTime updates!

Disclosure: We will be attending the blogger preview night to provide you with the most up to date information about Mickey’s Halloween Party. Tickets were provide. All opinions are that of GUG.
