Wednesday Wants: Things around the internets

There might be a few moment of the day where I waste spend time looking around the internets at a few of my favorite things. Before we moved from San Francisco to Southern California, I had to get rid of a lot of things that we just couldn’t move. We then spent a year in a temporary home until we finally moved into our forever home. Since the big purge, I have a really hard time actually buying anything. But that doesn’t stop me from dreaming and seeing what’s new and exciting.

Here’s a my list of this weeks Wednesday wants…

Somehow I’ve managed to misplace my sunglasses several times in the last few months. This time, I can’t find them and it’s going on a week. Unlike my husband, I do not have one spot that I put my sunglasses or keys. This floating wall plank by I Love Handles might be just what I need. In theory, I could walk in and place my things on this plank and never wonder where my things are again. I’m still holding out hope I’ll find my sunglasses by the time we leave for vacation this weekend.

Last week we stayed the night at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. We loved the record player in our room with about 5 records for us to use. Of course we had to play a little Marvin Gay, after all we were there sans kids. After the visit I was certain we needed a record player. But, we don’t own any records so this friend could actually end up costing a lot more than just the player. However, this turntable is pretty and nostalgic.

This little gem doesn’t even need an explanation. And I might have actually thrown down the $8 because I kept coming back to this. And you might as well buy two while you’re at it. Because the next time your BFF comes to town for a visit, you know they’re going to steal it.

There was a time, not too long ago, that we’d have 10,000 laptop sleeves in our house. But since the great purge, we have none. I recently got the greatest tote bag in the world and like to put my laptop in it. But I don’t have a sleeve. So I’ve been trying to find the perfect mate for my tote. This one might be it. It’s basic, sensible, and the price is right.

This timer is everything. And if I had it, I’d use it for everything. I promise. Really. I think I saw these on the Pioneer Women’s Instagram account and fell in love immediately. I have a similar one in red (which this one also comes in btw) and I use it all the time. What I don’t like about mine is that I have to pick it up to check the time. This one I can walk on by as I check the time. If my husband reads my blog, he’d take notes on this one.

Come back next Wednesday to see what else I find. And if you have a similar list of things you like to find around the internets, leave a link in the comments so I can check them out.
