Disney dining, is it right for you?

Is Disney dining right for you?

For those of you who purchase packages through Disney or other travel planning services, you may be able to purchase a Disney Dining Plan. These plans don’t offer a discount, but are intended to help budget in your meals. These plans are purchased along with your package, and vouchers can be used inside the park and at Disney hotels. You’ll be able to select your dining plan, but most offer enough for three meals a day, plus a snack. continued

Mickey’s Toontown

Mickey's Toontown

Toontown is a phenomenal little area of the park. It was designed as a three-dimensional city for our favorite animated characters. This interactive area is perfect for little explorers, as Toontown was made for little hands to touch everything. Since Toontown was made with younger children in mind, make sure you open, close, pull, push, look, and listen to everything around you. You never know what might be behind the next door you open. continued

Where are the Disney characters?

where-are-the-characters

Years ago, you could walk around Disneyland and randomly encounter Disney Characters throughout the park. As the parks get more popular, those times seem long gone. Now, you need to seek them out at designated meet-n-greet locations and times. It may seem like you keep missing your favorite Character by a few seconds as they get whisked away to their next location. You might be looking for a specific photo opportunity with your child’s favorite Character. (Or maybe your favorite Character.) continued

Meet Oswald, the lucky rabbit

Have you ever wondered who that crazy character is at the entrance of California Adventure? You know, the one that kind of looks like Mickey Mouse? Every time we walk past Oswald’s on Buena Vista Street, I hear people ask about him. There’s a little confusion over this character.

Oswald is a rabbit. A lucky rabbit. Oswald is over 80 years old, created even before Mickey Mouse. He’s been gaining popularity lately with Disney’s revival of early characters. Now you can meet him in person at DCA.

Starting today, you can find Oswald on Buena Vista Street between the main entrance and Hyperion Bridge, from park opening until 7 p.m.

After your meet-and-greet, head over to Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream and order the “Oswald” ice cream sundae! Yum!
