When we were kicking off the new year for Girl Scouts, I wanted to find a way to get the girls to open up to each other and figure out a way to offer kind thoughts to one another. One of our Greater Ink shirts is Kindness is Contagious and I knew it would be a fun project, spreading kindness with kindness rocks.
If your house is anything like mine, you’re tired of hearing, “what can I do?” on these long summer days. I like to keep several projects on hand so I’m ready to go with suggestions. One of the best projects we do over and over again is making a pinwheel. Follow these quick easy stops on how to make a pinwheel and you’ll have pinwheel fun at your home too. continued
Getting ready for the holidays can be a lot of fun. We do a fair amount of entertaining, so I like to keep my decorations updated and fresh. With our impeding move, I need to keep things simple. I might have been the last one to see Planes, Fire and Rescue. My husband took our oldest daughter to see it in the theater when the movie first came out. I’ve been waiting

When the Kiwi Crate arrived on our doorstep I was so excited to share it with my girls. My nine year old loves to gather items around the house and make new things out of them. You should see her latest creation with some straws, a few balloons, some string and a paper doll. She has a very creative mind and when I heard about Kiwi Crate I knew this would be perfect for her. continued
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. For the last few years, we’ve been going to Disneyland during the Halloween festivities. Last year, we attended Mickey’s Halloween Party for the first time. We typically go sometime in October. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season and get everyone excited for Halloween. continued
Oh how I love Summer! Living in San Francisco, we get about three weeks of actual Summer weather. One thing I miss about a traditional Summer is ice cream. I only like to eat it if it’s warm outside. I’ve been waiting for warmer weather to make ice cream sandwiches. Today it’s finally going to happen. I have several pinned over at Pinterest that I’ve been waiting to try, and thought I’d put my own Disney spin on it for our girls. continued
