Disney On Ice: Let’s Celebrate coming to the Bay Area!

Tracking PixelDisneyOnIce

Disney On Ice is coming back to the Bay Area with a new holiday show, Let’s Celebrate. I was thrilled when we were offered tickets to take the girls to see it. This new show, Disney On Ice, Let’s Celebrate is a great way to see all your Disney favorites in one place. If you haven’t been to a Disney On Ice show, this show could make you take the leap. Or if you’re a fan already, you’ll really like how much they’re changing things up. continued

Getting alone time

Addie

When my husband and I found out we were having a baby, it was a mutual decision that I would stay home. It’s been over six years now that I’ve been a stay-at-home mom. Now that we have two girls, I’ve found out so much about myself, my husband, and what it’s truly like to raise children. continued

Sad goodbyes, warm hellos

For those of you who haven’t heard my story, I met my husband while we were at school in San Diego. He moved to San Francisco soon after college. I made my way around the world as a flight attendant for several years, and finally settled in San Francisco over ten years ago when we re-connected. continued

101 Disneyland Tips turns ONE, let’s celebrate

101 Disneyland Tips

I never believe how fast time flies. It’s hard to believe we just hit the ONE year anniversary of my book, 101 Disneyland Tips. It’s been such a great year and I look forward to sharing a new, revised edition with you early next year.

My book has done really well, and I’m proud of the reviews it has received so far. If you haven’t read it yet, you’re in for a treat. Dawn Cullo, the ultimate Disney fan, wrote the foreword of the book, giving us an abbreviated history of Disneyland. This book is filled with helpful tips for ally parents, any first-time visitor, and even those of you who think you’ve experienced it all. Thank you to all of you who have purchased, read, and shared the book. Without you, it wouldn’t be as successful, I’m sure of it. continued

Disney dining, is it right for you?

Is Disney dining right for you?

For those of you who purchase packages through Disney or other travel planning services, you may be able to purchase a Disney Dining Plan. These plans don’t offer a discount, but are intended to help budget in your meals. These plans are purchased along with your package, and vouchers can be used inside the park and at Disney hotels. You’ll be able to select your dining plan, but most offer enough for three meals a day, plus a snack. continued

Strollers and strollers and strollers

Stroller and wheelchair rentals at Disneyland

You’ll likely encounter the highest ratio of strollers to walking adults at one of the Disney parks. Strollers are everywhere here, because everyone ends up walking a lot. So much that your feet will ache by the end of the day. So even if your child is at a good walking age, they’ll tire out easily. You may save yourself a midday breakdown (or breaking your own back from carrying your child) by having a stroller to plop them into once they’re tired. In less crowded areas, you also tend to move a little faster if your child is in a stroller. continued

Cupcake decorating with Sofia the First! #DisneyKids

cupcakes

This weekend we had a fun playdate with a few friends. We had several neighborhood princesses over for a cupcake decorating party. Although Sofia the First was our main theme, we were able to incorporate several other princesses as well. The girls dressed up, played games, decorated cupcakes, but best of all, they had a great time using their imaginations. continued

Baker’s Secret Colored Bakeware

Color_Bakeware

When I was a kid, I couldn’t wait for Christmas morning. I would wake up at the crack of dawn, and run in to the front room where the Christmas tree was to see what Santa had brought. After the presents were long forgotten, I’d realize how hungry I was. Getting up at 4:00am does that to a kid. continued
