Announcing: Frozen – Live at Disneyland

Next week I will be heading up to Disneyland for the world premiere of Frozen – Live at the Hyperion theater. This is a much anticipated premiere as it will be replacing Aladdin. Those are some pretty big shoes to fill as “Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular” ran for 13 years.

Frozen, the musical, will open at the Hyperion Theater in the Disney California Adventure Park on May 27, 2016. The new Frozen production is based off of the 2013 animated feature film and the creators have worked hard at keeping the magic alive in the theatrical performance.

The 1,873-seat Hyperion theater is the perfect venue for such a powerful musical. This theater was made for something spectacular, I think Walt Disney Imagineering made sure this was going to be it. I can’t wait to get a first glance at the performance and will tell you all about it when I get back.

Disclosure: I will be attending the blogger preview night to provide you with the most up to date information about Disneyland. Tickets were provide. All opinions are that of GUG.

Here’s a complete review of Frozen – Live at the Hyperion.

Disney’s FROZEN

FrozenWe finally made it to see Disney Animation’s latest movie, FROZEN. I know, we are a little late to the game. I still feel the need to share my thoughts on the movie. Even though we’ve already seen it twice, I can’t wait to see it again.

I love the movie. Loved it. Without giving anything away, the ending was perfect and unexpected. With many Disney movies of the past, the plot is often predictable. You can pretty much guess what is going to happen, long before it does. Disney Animation is paving the way for a new generation. FROZEN is more along the lines of Brave in what it teaches. Girls can now feel empowered, they are no longer getting married off at sixteen. continued

Disney’s FROZEN the movie

As part of this sponsored post for Collective Bias®, I purchased the following FROZEN merchandise at Walmart to promote the release of the upcoming movie.

This past summer, I went to D23, the ultimate Disney fan club event. While there, I got a sneak peek at the new Disney movie, FROZEN. We also had the privilege of seeing Idina Menzel perform, “Let It Go.” From that moment on, I’ve been counting down the days until we can take our daughter to see the movie.

The story is centered around two sisters, Anna and Elsa. Elsa has magical powers that ultimately turn a beautiful summer day in the kingdom of Arendelle into winter. Anna sets out to make things right again, and break the curse cast by Elsa. Along the way, Anna meets several new friends. Including one adorable snowman, Olaf. continued
