DIY Planes Gift Wrap and Travel Bags

I might have been the last one to see Planes, Fire and Rescue. My husband took our oldest daughter to see it in the theater when the movie first came out. I’ve been waiting not so patiently for it to get released in the iTunes Store. Recently we all piled onto the couch and watched it together as a family, and loved it. continued

InsideOut

When we went to D23 in 2013, one of the highlights for us was a sneak peak of the new Disney-Pixar animation, Inside Out. We’ve been on the edge of our seats waiting for it to be released. Well, the wait will soon be over! Inside Out will be theaters June 19, 2015. continued

Big Hero 6 Coloring and activity sheets

We loved the Disney movie, Big Hero 6. Who knew we’d fall in love with a big robot “marshmallow” for lack of better terms. Being a San Francisco resident, I wasn’t so sure about the name of the city, but I was sold on that too. The movie is phenomenal.

Since it was just released, I don’t want to give too much away.

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, go! My daughter is six. She had some hard questions in the middle of the movie, but other than that, she loved it too. continued

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is out in theaters today. Last night, I got an advanced screening of the flick with a couple teenagers I know. Kids can be brutal critics, so I wasn’t sure how this would go.

The great news is all three of us loved this movie. I don’t want to give any spoilers about it, but some general reasons why we loved it so much… continued

Disney’s The Pirate Fairy now available on DVD

Last summer my husband and I attended D23, the ultimate Disney fan club convention. While there, we were lucky to get a sneak peak of The Pirate Fairy. You could imagine my shock to hear it would be another eight long months before we’d see the movie in it’s entirety.

Disney’s FROZEN

FrozenWe finally made it to see Disney Animation’s latest movie, FROZEN. I know, we are a little late to the game. I still feel the need to share my thoughts on the movie. Even though we’ve already seen it twice, I can’t wait to see it again.

I love the movie. Loved it. Without giving anything away, the ending was perfect and unexpected. With many Disney movies of the past, the plot is often predictable. You can pretty much guess what is going to happen, long before it does. Disney Animation is paving the way for a new generation. FROZEN is more along the lines of Brave in what it teaches. Girls can now feel empowered, they are no longer getting married off at sixteen. continued

Toy Story of TERROR

Set your DVR’s! Tonight is the premier of Toy Story of TERROR! Just in time for Halloween, the Toy Story gang is off on a scary adventure. What starts out as a harmless road trip takes a dramatic turn for the worse. They’ll be staying, at what could be, a very haunted hotel! Who knows if they’ll make it out…

I saw the first ten minutes of the show when I was at the D23 Expo. I have to admit, I thought it was a little scary. I say this so you can plan accordingly. If you have little ones, you might want to watch it yourself first to make sure it’s age appropriate.

The cast of Toy Story 3 comes together tonight, October 16th at 8/7c on ABC.

I’ll be watching it tonight, will you?

Exclusive “Delivery Man” Sneak Preview

We don’t get to the movies that often. But when we see a preview for something that looks like we might enjoy it, we try to mark the calendar and get a babysitter. This is how we felt when we saw the new preview for Delivery Man. You’re about to get a sneak peak at this hilarious comedy that will only be available here and from a few select sites.

In the film, Vince Vaughn plays an underachiever looking for his purpose in life. Suddenly, he finds out that he fathered 533 children through anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years ago. Now he must decide whether or not to come forward when over a hundred of them want to meet their biological father.

Watch the trailer below. Maybe you’ll add this movie to your holiday list too. Delivery Man opens in theaters on November 22nd. I’ll bring the popcorn!
